Perfect Recruitment are recruiting for a CDP, for our client based in Scorton, Preston (Lancashire).Our client runs a very busy, fast paced restaurant, producing all menu items from fresh ingredients, to ensure customers receive the best experience possible.Duties:- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation & portion size.- Co-ordinate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.- Work efficiently to meet high volume demands.- Conduct regular quality checks.- Always follow proper food safety and health & safety procedures, including storage, handling, and cooking practices.- Contribute ideas for menu improvements.- Show leadership and team management skills.- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.- Communicate effectively with all staff members.Requirements:- Proven experience as a chef in a fast-paced environment.- Relevant culinary qualifications.- Ability to work well under pressure.- Excellent time management & organisational skills.- Attention to detail.- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques.- Availability to work weekends.Benefits:- Paid Breaks- Daytime Hours – latest finish usually 5.30pm/6pm- One weekend off every 4 weeks (Worked on a rota basis)- Christmas Day/ Boxing Day & Easter Sunday off.- Great team environment- Staff Meals- TipsPlease note you must be able to easily commute to the Scorton area.
