About the Role:
The Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Team is looking to recruit a skilled and highly motivated individual to join a busy team to provide comprehensive administrative support within the Adult Social Care Safeguarding Adults and Quality Service.
You will act as the first point of contact for enquires about matters relating to Deprivation of Liberty and will be responsible for providing a wide range of support tasks including, but not limited to: maintaining spreadsheets; processing routine correspondence; preparing DoLS Legal documents; liaison with care homes, advocacy services, other social work teams, families of People with Lived Experience; and general administration support to your team.
This role would suit an individual who has excellent attention to detail, can work autonomously while following exact instructions, and who can communicate complex processes clearly; someone who will not be afraid to get stuck in and deal with challenging tasks.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, solution-focused and a fast learner.
They must have excellent IT skills using all Microsoft packages.
Knowledge of databases such as Oracle and Mosaic would be desirable.
