The School and RoleABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated and passionate Business Studies Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Solihull.

This is a permanent, full-time position starting in September 2024, offering a competitive salary between M1 and M6 on the Main Pay Scale. 

The school are a growing establishment who hold inclusivity and staff well-being at the forefront.

They have a friendly and dedicated Senior Leadership Team who will endeavour to support you and ensure that high quality teaching is being provided to students.

Key Responsibilities:Delivering engaging and effective Business Studies lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

Planning, preparing, and assessing students' work, ensuring academic standards are met.

Contributing to the wider school community and participating in extracurricular activities.

Supporting students’ personal and academic development.

Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and outcomes.

RequirementsThe successful Business Studies Teacher will have;Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.

Experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary school level.

Strong classroom management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A commitment to continuous professional development and school improvement.

Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
