Job description

Permanent, Full Time - 37 hours a week. Flexi-time policy applicable

In this role you will support the Business Relationship Manager with a range of services and functions to internal and external customers alike. You will have great communication skills and be able to speak English to a good standard or through the use of a BSL interpreter and a desire to learn new technologies and processes as needed.

You will be able to:

  • Create and maintain accurate accounting records (via Excel)
  • Proven high skill and capability of applying and analysing data in Excel to manage client details and financial data.
  • Provide updates and financial information/forecasting to the management team.
  • Comfortable and able to learn to use a range of systems.
  • Assist with the recovery of unpaid invoices.
  • You will embody Bristol City Council’s Values and Behaviors and strive for continuous improvement and excellent customer service.

    Knowledge of Bristol Operations Centre is an advantage, but full training and mentoring will be provided. We will support you in your development within our service and can assist you with further training opportunities within the wider council. This post also offers agile-working post completion of 6 months’ probation/training), flextime working and enrolment in the LGPS pension scheme.
