Daniel Owen are currently seeking a highly experience 'Building Surveyor' to join one of our leading property consultancy clients firm specialising in comprehensive building surveying services across both residential and commercial sectors.

They are well-known for there dedication to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.

Role Overview:Daniel Owen are seeking a skilled and motivated Building Surveyor to join on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering project works and professional services across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:Conduct building surveys, inspections, and assessments on residential and commercial properties.

Prepare detailed reports, including condition surveys, defect analysis, and maintenance schedules.

Manage and oversee project works, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Provide expert advice on building regulations, planning laws, and property legislation.

Undertake dilapidation surveys and prepare relevant documentation.

Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions.

Support the preparation of tender documents and manage procurement processes.

Conduct feasibility studies and prepare budget estimates for potential projects.

Requirements:A degree in Building Surveying or a related field.

Chartered status (MRICS) is highly desirable.

Proven experience in both residential and commercial sectors.

Strong understanding of building regulations, health and safety standards, and construction processes.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in using surveying software and tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.
