Our client, a multi-disciplinary practice of chartered surveyors, project managers and cost consultants in Brighton are actively recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their team. This role would involve providing a range of building surveying services to their clients whilst working from their Brighton office and travelling to sites as required.This role would also involve assisting with business generation and cost management tasks within the wider team therefore they are looking for a client facing individual with a hardworking attitude.Building Surveyor Position OverviewProviding a range of Building Surveying services to Clients.Site inspections and surveys.Preparation of Existing and Proposed Architectural Plans, Elevations and Sections.Feasibility ReportsSubmission of Planning and Building Control Applications.Preparation of Specification of Works (using NBS).Principal Designer and Contract Administrator.Project and Cost Management.Schedules of Condition and Dilapidations.Party Wall Awards. Building Surveyor Position Requirements1-2 years of Building Surveying experienceDegree in Building SurveyingLocal or within commuting distance to BrightonGood IT skills, experience using AutoCAD and Excel. Building Surveyor Position Remuneration£30 - 40k package.APC support.Holiday allowanceCompany pension scheme.Local parking permit.
