Breakfast ChefLocation: MidhurstSalary: £26,000Bee Happy Recruitment are proud to be working with a client in the hospitality industry looking for a breakfast chef to join the team on a a permanent basis.The House has established its credentials as a hotel with spa, golf and grass tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pool and croquet lawn, along with classic food from the local region: a smallholding for great hospitality and standout experiences.Job description:Food Preparation - * Cooking Breakfast Items: Preparing a wide range of breakfast foods such as eggs (scrambled, fried, poached, etc.), bacon, sausages etc.. * Preparing Ingredients: Chopping vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients needed for breakfast dishes.Kitchen Management - * Setting Up the Kitchen: Ensuring the kitchen is ready for service, including turning on equipment, prepping stations, and ensuring all ingredients are available. * Inventory Management: Keeping track of kitchen inventory and ordering supplies as needed. * Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the kitchen clean and organized, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment. * Waste Management: Properly disposing of kitchen waste and maintaining a clean work environment.Quality Control - * Monitoring Food Quality: Ensuring that all food served meets the establishment's standards for taste and presentation. * Adhering to Recipes: Following recipes and preparation techniques to ensure consistency in dishes. * Safety Standards: Complying with food safety and hygiene standards to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses.The candidate will need to have previous experience of working as a breakfast chef in a similar environment.The role itself is on a 40 hour working week spread across 5 days on a 7 day week.
