Company Details and Job Overview Kenton Black are working with an established and friendly firm in the Sheffield area seeking to appoint Bookkeeper to join their team undertaking with accounts/bookkeeping and VAT duties. This Hybrid role requires the successful candidate to have strong bookkeeping skills with knowledge of VAT returns to undertake monthly bookkeeping via Xero from client's records and then prepare quarterly VAT returns. The successful candidate will ideally AAT qualified or can work to that standard with a solid knowledge of Xero and experience of preparing VAT returns in a similar role within ideally an accountancy environment. This role offers autonomy for an experienced bookkeeping professional seeking to join a friendly office environment and could also offer some payroll duties if desired - this is optional for the successful individual. You will be be passionate about providing a great client service and be able to hit the ground running.
