Bookkeeper in Orpington

TPFrecruitment is recruiting on behalf of a fastgrowing and highlysuccessful firm of chartered accountants based in Orpington who arelooking for a Bookkeeper to join their team.

Thisis a key role where you will be responsible for bookkeepingsupporting with management accounts vat returns and other servicesto a mixed and varied client base across Kent and the SouthEast.

You will carve a key role here adding value to clients and buildingrelationships within a growing team and firm.

Parttime applicantswill also be considered.

Joiningthis firm of chartered accountants as a Bookkeeper you will carve akey handson role as you develop within this firm and environment.

Acting for varied sole traders partnerships and limited companySMEs and OMBs of varying sizes and industry sectors you will beresponsiblefor:

• Bookkeepingthrough to trial balance stage
  
• Helpingclients get prepared for MTD
  
• Supportingwith managementaccounts
  
• Settingup clients on cloud software (Xero) and advising them on how to useit
  
• CompletingCIS returns
  
• VATpreparation andreturns
  
• Opportunityto support with adhoc payroll work too but notessential.
  

Requirements

• Youmay be AAT studying or hold an AAT qualification which would be abonus but if supported by a relevant career history and technicalskill set a strong relevant experienced background only is equallyof interest aswell.
  
• Youwill have anything from 2 5 years or significantly more experiencewithin accountancy practice bookkeeping or perhaps be aselfemployed bookkeeper seeking the stability of a permanentemployed position carving a role within this team of professionalscarrying out bookkeeping services for a wideranging clientbase.
  
• Aswell as providing a quality bookkeeping service the team advise oncloud accounting software and you will use your knowledge andexperience to develop and utilise this experience further as a keyaddition to this growing and successful division within thefirm.
