About the role

  • In this hands on exciting role you'll be responsible for providing dedicated bids and business development support on the firm's strategic priority areas. Supporting the firm's growth strategy by helping to win new work through end-to-end project management, including the development of high-quality bid documents, and support and advice throughout the competitive tender process.
  • Working with the Head of Strategic Growth, you'll analyse win rates and feedback to help analyse team performance and where the firm needs to improve our sales approach
  • End-to-end project management of bids under the guidance of the Pursuit Manager or Head of Strategic Growth. Including but not limited to:
  • Set up project plans and ensure key meetings and client interactions secured in diaries as early as possible.
  • Provide insight by preparing pre-tender desk research including Business Intelligence (BI).
  • Support the development of high-quality bid documents, liaising with all parts of the business. Support will range from co-ordinating pitch team meetings, creating first draft documents from template materials, inputting to pitches being managed by client-facing teams to manging the end-to-end development of selected pitches.
  • Liaise with the Design team on document development.
  • Liaise with teams to co-ordinate and collate information, where necessary, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain and manage content, including a library of credentials, case studies and CVs
  • You'll be the first point of contact for queries, including from Group and international teams and take responsibility for managing the team's inbox and escalating where needed.
  • Supporting the Strategic Growth and Client Experience teams on ad-hoc projects

  • Proven project management skills
  • Experience of working within a bid role
  • First class proofreading and editing and copywriting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail under pressure.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and strong general IT skills.
