AV Designer in London

Location: Farringdon, London| Job Type: Full-Time | Salary: Up to £35k (DoE)About Us:We are a rapidly expanding organization, and due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced AV Designer to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about designing cutting-edge audio-visual systems and enjoy working on challenging projects, we want to hear from you!Role Overview:As an AV Designer, you will be responsible for designing and managing audio-visual systems across a variety of projects. The role will focus on installed AV systems and requires a strong understanding of ICT and control systems commonly used in AV installations. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Hospitality, Residential, Office Fitout, Refurbishment, or Relocation projects and be familiar with RIBA work stages.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Technical / Consulting:* Engage with clients and consultant teams to establish AV and IT briefs and technology requirements.* Provide input into technology strategy and concept documents.* Design and specify AV systems, including written specifications, budgets, schematics, and pricing schedules.* Coordinate and manage the competitive procurement process.* Provide M&E, architectural, and IT information to the professional team on AV designs.* Project manage contractors through delivery phases, including design approvals, site inspections, commissioning, acceptance, and handover to clients.* Oversee contractor off-site testing and AV system programming.* Assist in developing QA processes for managing the implementation phases of AV and IT projects.Research / Technology & Innovation:Conduct research into emerging technologies and future trends, providing regular updates to directors and the team.Explore innovative technology areas and potential service differentiators.Personal Profile (Essential Skills):* Experience in designing AV systems for various applications, including meeting rooms, boardrooms, training rooms, auditoriums, public address systems, video and audio conferencing, digital signage, and public information systems.* Proficiency in control systems, home automation, and television distribution (satellite, terrestrial, cable, IPTV).* Intermediate level skills in AutoCAD 20xx.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.What We Offer:* Flexible work hours* A collaborative and innovative work environment.* Competitive salary and benefits package.How to Apply:If you are an experienced AV Designer looking to take your career to the next level, please send your CV and cover letter to henry . durrant @ intechnologygroup . com.
