Our client is a Top 25 firm known for their proactive and driven approach, close-knit teams and vibrant social events. As the largest single office accountancy firm in the UK, the firm is comprised of various specialised teams, led by home-grown, experienced partners.

Your responsibilities as an Audit Senior will include:

• Carry out the planning, fieldwork and completion of statutory and CASS audits.
• Prepare accounts, including consolidated accounts, using CaseWare under UK GAAP or IFRS.
• Supervise the audit assignment and develop strong relationships with the client.
• Communicate complex or contentious issues with the manager and partner.
• Run training sessions for junior members of the team

As the successful candidate you will:

• Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
• Have experience of leading audits from planning to completion
• Demonstrate the ability to lead two or more staff during an audit
• Preferably have working knowledge of Caseware
• Have experience of external auditing of medium sized enterprises under FRS102 and IFRS
• Ideally have audited large, consolidated group structures
