Heritage PS Talent Solutions are thrilled to be working in partnership with an award winning and well established accountancy based business in Leicester.

We are seeking a part or fully qualified auditor to join our Audit and Accounts department to support our ongoing growth.

Our firm is agile in its approach, offering a varied role that includes both audit and accounts work.

The candidate will have the opportunity to work on corporate audits as well as specialist audits, such as those for charities and pensions.

Main duties of the Auditor role:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring assignments are completed on time.
• Plan and conduct audit assignments for companies, as well as audits and independent examinations for specialised assignments such as charities and pension schemes.
• Prepare financial statements for limited companies.
• Support and mentor trainee accountants with their assignments.
• Deliver excellent customer service by managing and exceeding client expectations, and responding promptly to all ad hoc queries.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge by attending relevant training, conferences, and seminars.
• Manage all work efficiently, profitably, and in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements of the Auditor role:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified.
• Minimum of three years of audit experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the confidence to network and contribute to business development.
• Commercially focused with the ability to deliver innovative solutions.
• Dedicated to self-development and eager to coach, mentor, and develop colleagues.
