Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Specalist Interiors Contractor - High Wycombe Company: My client are a internation brand in the glass partitioning systems sector.
They design, manage, and install large projects across the globe from beautifully designed glass partitions and doors.
They are mainly dedicated to commercial workspaces and have worked on some of the world's most iconic buildings.
They are seeking a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their major works division, here you will develop your skills as a surveyor, hopefully working your way up to a more senior position within the company, in years to come!
Responsibilities: * Complete job start form.
* Obtain all cost information including estimating data and any quotations used in the tender.
* Start up a financial file.
* Obtain and agree procurement schedule.
* Establish variation dates with client.
* Raise draft invoices to accounts department.
* Produce projected sales forecast when the valuation dates are known * Set up valuation format based around the tender document.
* Place sub-contract orders.
Requirements: * Must live within one hour commuting distance from High Wycombe.
* Position will require to be permanently based at High Wycombe, traveling to sites weekly located in Oxford, Cambridge, and London as and when required.
* Have 18 months experience working in the relevant discipline of Quantity Surveying within the construction industry * Have a construction related qualification at A Levels, T Levels, BTECs or higher for eligibility to access to HE and all other qualifications with UCAS Tariff points.
