The Lord Palmerston has always been a popular and charming community pub. Now, post refurb and with a new GM it is ready to be it's very best and we are looking to build a management team to reflect that.

As assistant manager you are imperative to running the business. Working closely with the GM you will offer strong support in the day to day management of the building, sharing admin tasks and assisting in all areas, both front and back of house. 

With a sunny and cheerful disposition, you will fill the building with your positive energy and can do attitude, willing to throw yourself into tasks, problem solve and run your shifts confidently, at the same time not being afraid to ask for help and training to further develop your skills.

We are looking for someone looking for a career in hospitality, you will have access to courses, and the career development opportunities within the company are huge. 

As we are looking for someone to offer instant support to the GM, this is a role for someone with at least 18 months experience in an assistant management role, with this potentially being your final step in your path to becoming a general manager.
