Assistant Accountant in Cardiff

Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking an Assistant Accountant for a growing consultancy firm in Central Cardiff (with Parking!)

The full-time Assistant Accountant responsible for the ownership of Financial Accounts activities to maintain and improve control environment including; Cashbook, AR, AP, VAT, Key Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Reporting.

This is a really flat structured function - you've have direct contact with the internal stakeholders. They want a candidate who is looking for continual improvements. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in many projects and get exposure to the senior management meetings

• Monthly UK Group Intercompany reconciliation
• Monthly management accounts - accruals and prepayments.
• Journal postings
• Assisting with the year end account production.
• Quarterly worldwide Intercompany reconciliation
• Development and implementation of intercompany dashboard for KPI analysis
• Provide data for cashflow forecast and currency conversion bi monthly
• Oversee allocation of payments and receipts
• Responsible for updating the debtors
• Balance sheet reconciliations with production of supporting schedules for;

, AR, AP, VAT,, Other Debtors, Accruals, Prepayments, Fixed Assets, Sales Ledger over payments, AR provision.
