Aspiring English Teacher | Barnet | September 2024 start... Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic Aspiring English Teacher? If so, we are looking for a confident Aspiring English Teacher to join a successful, high-achieving school as an English Teaching Assistant for students in secondary school and sixth form.As an Aspiring English Teacher, you will support gifted and low-achieving students with their learning; leading 1:1 and group sessions to improve academic achievement.Aspiring English Teacher | About the role:
- Opportunity to earn up to £550 per week
- Teach GCSE and A-Level students Aspiring English Teachers should be competent in English Language and English Literature
- Secure a long-term work placement with teacher training as an option after an academic year as Support Staff
- Students have high ambitions and achieve fantastic results
- Help students from all different backgrounds
- Start this role from September after graduating
- Teacher training includes salaried opportunities and SCITT programmes in some of the best schools, trusts and federations in the country.
- An Aspiring English Teacher should have a First-Class degree in English from a Top-20 University
- Passionate about mentoring students with SEND
- Having Child-Facing Experience / Experience with Behaviour Management / Tutoring & Mentoring would be advantageous for an Aspiring English Teacher
- Can be a role model for students wanting to go to Oxbridge and other top Universities
- Has a good work ethic and subject knowledge
- Can confidently teach and support in English up to A-Level.
