Career Teachers have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Art & Design Technology (DT) Teacher starting as soon as possible. You will be working in a SEND School based in Kidderminster who support students aged 5 to 19. Our school are seeking a full time QTS/ QTLS qualified teacher who is highly motivated, compassionate, and dedicated to supporting children and young people who a range of complex needs including social, emotional, and mental Health (SEMH), speech, language and communication difficulties, and autism. You will be responsible for delivering an engaging and adaptive curriculum that inspires creativity and practical skills, tailored to the individual needs of their students. To be successful for this role, you must: Must hold qualified teacher status (QTS / QTLS) Have experience of teaching Art & Design Technology at all levels Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs (SEN). Patience, empathy, and resilience, with a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives. Committed to promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people. Eligibility to work within the UK. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
