Applications EngineerSalary 32 - 40K + Bonus, permanent role in Bristol, BS5, holidays 25 days increasing with service + bank holidays, 7 % pension, life assurance, health insurance scheme, 7% pension(10% total), Monday to Friday 39 hours per week flexible start and finish times, hybrid working available.This specialist manufacturer in Bristol has an exciting opportunity for an applications engineer or technical engineer to join their expanding team. The main functions of the role are to assist in product development and associated tasks, ensuring compliance to all applicable Quality standardsThe applications engineer or technical engineer role will involve* Producing drawings with autodesk Inventor, ensuring drawing control procedures are developed and maintained *Assist in product development and compliance to ensure that they meet industrial standards and required functionality.* Review and update work/service instructions, operating manuals* Help generate, maintain and update BoMs.* Communicate with the Engineering & sales teams, customers/suppliers to review and sign off technical drawing's for production * Good organisational and project related skills.* Keeping up to date with market and industry trends and new technologies requirements* Basic understanding of manufacturing systems and techniques* Occasionally produce layout and plan drawings for skids and plant rooms.* Experience in product compliance, CE/BS/ISOThe applications engineer or technical engineer skills requiredEducated to degree or equivalent level with a mechanical engineering related qualificationThe ability to communicate effectively with clients colleagues and suppliers,Competency with the autodesk Inventor suite of programs (Knowledge of Vault and AutoCAD electrical and or plant would be advantageous but not essential).FMEA and risk assessment experience,Basic knowledge of electrical and control systems, an understanding of P & I D' s,Knowledge of ISO9001 and PED is useful but not essetialThis specialist manufacturer has been established for over 50 years and as well as their Bristol operation has manufacturing plants in the USA and China and operates on five continents, reinforcing their reputation as a worldwide leader in the development of heat transfer products.Job title: applications engineer or technical engineer Salary: 32 - 40K + BonusHours: Monday to Friday 39 hours per week flexible start and finish times flexible ,hybrid working availableBenefits: 25 days increasing with service + bank holidays, 7 % pension(10% total), life assurance, Health insurance schemeLocation: Bristol BS5Duration: PermanentPlease apply for this role through the job board or apply direct to (url removed) or for further information, please call (phone number removed).Travail Employment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
