I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Aerodynamics Engineer to join their team on a Contract basis.

Job Description

As Aerodynamics Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• Aerodynamics Engineer to undertake Pre-KO and Pre-PS aerodynamic simulations (3D CFD) to support Design and Engineering deliver target compatible vehicle concepts for subsequent programme delivery

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Strong CFD background ideally using StarCCM+.
• Excellent fluid knowledge and understanding of vehicle flow structures.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Degree level in an Engineering discipline such as Aeronautics.
• Aerodynamics coupled with Thermal analyses.
• Passenger vehicle wind tunnel testing.
• Aeroacoustics and Water & Dirt Management
• Experience of vehicle aerodynamics and the passenger vehicle development process with a track record of building complex CFD models for Aerodynamic analysis
