Accounts Manager in Folkestone

TPFRecruitment are supporting an excellent chartered accountancypractice based in Folkestone who are looking for an AccountsManager to join their experienced team across a mixed accounts andtax portfolio. Ourclient is a multisited firm of chartered accountants and they havebeen established in the Kent market for manyyears.

Asan Accounts and Tax Manager you will report directly into thepartners and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up ofsole traders partnerships and Ltd companies. You will have theautonomy to manage your portfolio as you wish and you will alsowork closely with a team of expert tax advisors who will supportyou with more complicated advisory work. • Prepareannual statutory accounts corporation partnership and personal taxreturns
  
• Preparemonthly and quarterly accounts and VATreturns
  
• Managingyour client portfolio and clientrelations
  
• Overseeand review the work of more junior staff andbookkeepers.
  
• Onboardnew clients and assist the partners with adhoc consulting andsystems implementation work asrequired.
  

• Youwill be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 yearsexperience withinpractice.
  
• Youwill have worked as a Team Leader/ Client Manager/ Manager within apractice environment and have hands on experience of accountsmanagement accounts tax andVAT.
