Job Overview
Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, the Key Account Manager will undertake key duties in support of both Mitie's and our customers' transitions to increase recycling across the portfolio.
Main Duties
The individual will be responsible for developing waste strategies for property managers, managing budget costs, assisting finance teams with invoicing, advising on environmental outcomes, and providing cost amendments and advice to customers.
They will also conduct customer audits, maintain services, support research projects, and stay updated on new technologies and initiatives to shape business responses to environmental and social initiatives.
Person Specification
Passionate individual with a focus on environmental sustainability and the circular economy.
Skilled in analytical thinking, proficient in MS Office and IT, and able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders.
Industry experience is a bonus.
