Who you are:

As a company built From Founders for Founders, we value the relationships to our customers and stakeholders more than anything.

As such, this Account Executive role is quite different from the standard fare. It focuses less on desk-based outreach and much more on personal interaction. The right person would be an extremely outgoing and friendly character who believes deeply in meeting face-to-face and enjoys days where they are running from one coffee to another.

  • Relationship Builder: You believe in relationship-led sales with in-person meetings over mass online outreach. You are a natural communicator with exceptional EQ
  • Sales-driven: You understand that the outcome of your relationship building is a new client and think about your strategies in that way. We aren’t expecting the 100 cold call per day / presidents’ club type persona, but focus on the outcome is really important
  • You love startups: You already keep a close eye on the UK start-up scene through your current role or through various media outlets. We will test this extensively

What you will do :

  • You will be the local link between our UK-based Clients and our Athens-based Client Service Teams, and therefore one of the ‘faces’ of the business. This means frequent meetings with both existing clients and new ones
  • You will build a high-touch sales process focussed around attending and holding events as well as active participation in the social media channels where our core clients (start-ups) are present
  • You will lead a relationship-based sales approach (i.e. give advice, get business rather than ask for business and get advice), thereby building a pipeline of business
  • You will act as a face of the business to clients, potential clients and the startup industry

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years’ experience with an in-person client facing role (Sales, Account Management, Event Management, etc.)
  • Impeccable communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • A natural interest in the start-up environment. You probably already have an imaginary portfolio of startups you’d love equity in
