About North Tyneside Carers' Centre
We are an independent charity and the only generic carer support service in the borough supporting both young and adult carers. Over the years the centre has developed in response to the needs of carers and helps people who care for family, friends or neighbours find support in our peer to peer groups, held at times to suit you across the week. Our knowledgeable team support carers with everything from advocacy at mental health tribunals, meetings with professional services and can signpost you to services like local walks, specialist meet-ups and training sessions created by us that help make life easier for you and the person you care for.
