‘Girls First’ is what we are all about at Heathfield.

Heathfield School is a leading boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18 years old rated 'Excellent in all categories' in our latest inspection. Set in 36 acres of magnificent grounds, and conveniently situated in Ascot, it provides easy access to London, major airports, the M3 and M4 motorways and the countryside.

Founded in 1899, we are a school where every girl is known. Research demonstrates that students do well when their achievement is supported by strong relationships. Heathfield is known for its excellent pastoral care, however we also enable pupils reach whatever goal they are aiming for – and there’s a wide range. The girls this summer left with places at Oxford for Medicine, Central St Martins for Art, Maths at University College, London and various Russell Group universities including Warwick, Newcastle and Edinburgh.

In the summer 2020 exams, 34% were awarded the top A* - A grades at A Level with 96% of pupils achieving all A*- C grades. At GCSE, 47% were awarded 9 - 8 with 79% of pupils achieving 9-6 grades.

Our STEM facility was opened by Sir Robert Winston in January 2016, encouraging a new generation of women in the field. Pupils make full use of all our facilities which include a 25m heated indoor pool, performing arts theatre, digital recording studio, 5 lacrosse pitches, 6 tennis/netball courts, a cross country track, large sports hall, dance studio and fitness suite.
