Discovery Summer was founded in 2002 and is a family-owned company with extensive experience in running quality summer schools in the UK. The Head Office team of seven dedicate their time throughout the year to planning, developing and marketing innovative summer programmes for children, teenagers and families.

In their 2018 British Council inspection, Discovery Summer was awarded 14 strengths out of a possible 15 placing it in the top tier of language schools in the UK.

Discovery Summer currently runs courses at 8 centres; in 6 of the most outstanding independent boarding schools around the country and in 2 well-appointed teaching centres in Kensington, London. All centres are exceptionally well-resourced.

Over 60 nationalities study with Discovery Summer each year. Many students return each summer to develop confidence in using English, learn new skills, explore England and make new friends. It is a truly international learning environment.

Each centre brings together strong team-players who genuinely enjoy working with children and teenagers and 60% of staff return each year.
