Crossroads Care Forest of Dean and Herefordshire is a specialist charitable organisation who, through our not for profit care agency, provide practical help, support and social opportunities to carers and those they care for across all ages and disabilities. We are here to support individuals choices and independence.

When faced with illness, recovering or perhaps struggling to walk, it can be more difficult to carry out everyday activities that an individual may have once done without thinking. Our discreet personal care service is designed to support individuals with their day-to-day living, as well as providing them with the encouragement and emotional support to remain living independently.

Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. Every client will have slightly different needs and we will therefore work with clients to agree something very specific to them. Some examples are:

Personal Care:
o Help getting up in the morning - toileting and bathing, washing and dressing and all other grooming needs.
o Help with going to bed in the evening.
o Medication support and prompting service.
o Overnight Care - Night Awake & Sleeping.
o Continence & Catheter management.

These services are available across the Forest of Dean and Ross on Wye area.

Independence support:

o General housework, including laundry and the preparation of meals.
o Errands, such as shopping, collecting pensions, benefits or Doctor's prescriptions.
o Clerical assistance such as letter writing, making phone calls or filling out forms.
o Help getting out and about, taking trips, visiting friends or going on excursions.
o Offering companionship. Simple tasks like reading, chatting and listening.
o Budget management e.g. pension collection and assistance with bill payment

o Dementia Care
o Convalescence & Post - operative Care
