Caritas began trading in January 2009; a joint venture with nGAGE Specialist Recruitment. The business was founded based on a belief that there was a gap in the market for a social care recruiter with the passion and quality of smaller outfits, but created with the infrastructure for rapid growth. It has a clear vision to provide clients and candidates across the social care sector with a professional, high quality service to include industry leading investment in vetting and safeguarding – vital in this sector. This principle is instilled in every member of my team and is at the core of every decision and action taken at an individual and business level.
Since inception, the business has quickly established itself as a strong contender in the Social Care sector, with nominations for numerous awards including Recruitment International's 'Entrepreneur of the Year', ‘Rising Star’ & 'Most Admired Recruitment Company' awards; The Recruiter's ‘Best Newcomer’ & 'Best Public Sector Recruitment Company' awards; entering the Recruiter Hot 100 list at no. 42 in 2011; the highest social care agency, after only two years trading.
