About Ashfield Voluntary Action
Ashfield Voluntary Action (AVA) has been serving the Ashfield District community for over 15 years. The charity provides support to other voluntary and community sector organisations (VCSOs) and groups within Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. We also support individuals by signposting to local services; a range of targeted projects; and mobilising volunteers to support the local voluntary sector.
Our unique position as a local infrastructure organisation means we act as a conduit for local voluntary sector organisations; we are able to quickly disseminate and collect information to/from local charities and small VCSOs - giving us an in-depth knowledge of the issues facing our local community.
