THE POSITION
We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join us on a fixed term contract for 3 - 6 months.

In this varied role you will be involved in all of our shipping and logistics operations – from preparing the required documentation and packing the order as well as checking and processing incoming deliveries, cycle counts, picking of parts for the production team and stock takes

Communication is key in this role as you will be speaking to a range of colleagues across the business.

The role will report to our Warehouse and Logistics Manager

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Preparing packages for shipment – including ensuring all paperwork is accurate, complete and on time.
Receipt of Goods into the Business:
Validation of quantities against pack slips from suppliers, highlighting any discrepancies.
Movement of stock and putting stock away upon receipt in the correct location.
Regular stock counting to ensure stock accuracy.
Picking of stock for production:
Packing of Finished Goods ready for shipment to customers.
Driving material between sites

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL
Confident user of Microsoft office including Outlook

DESIRABLE
Experience as a store person, or similar role, in a production environment.
Experience of Shipping Processes
Experience with Epicor system

YOUR COMPETENCIES
Confident communicator, comfortable communicating with the team across the organisation
Strong organisational skills
Able to work well within a team and independently as required.
Keen eye for detail.
Able to lift/carry up to 15kg independently & regularly.

To be considered for this role you must hold a valid UK driving license as you will be responsible for driving the company van between sites (Grove and Ardington).
