The UK Finance Director will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the UK business.

Reporting to the Group Finance Director in Norway, the successful candidate will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting and will be responsible for managing financial risks, planning, analysis, and forecasting.

This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a commercial mindset, and strong leadership skills to support our regional teams.


The Opportunity


  • Oversee the financial operations of the UK region, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Monitor financial performance against targets, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Collaborate with regional management team to support overall business operations and growth initiatives
  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place and adhere to best practices in financial management
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as required
  • Background and Experience


  • ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong financial management and reporting skills
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Ability to work autonomously and be part of the senior leadership team
  • Experience in an international business
