CCL Global is looking for a Turbomachinery Specialist for an offshore project 28/28 rotation

Minimum 3 years of experience as Turbomachinery Specialist and over 7 years oilfield facilities experience is a must.

  • Industry acknowledged qualification in Operation and Maintenance of Turbomachinery required.
  • Experience in Training of national labour both through CBTA & OJT is an advantage.
  • Team leadership and high safety standards.
  • Strong personal and interpersonal skills and culturally aware.
  • No Issue to travel to Offshore and oversea with long distance trip.

Position Recommended Experience & Skills

  • Experience in commissioning, start-up operation and maintenance offshore Oil & Gas facilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of industrial gas turbines, theory and application.
  • Advanced knowledge of centrifugal gas compressors, theory and application.
  • Knowledge of advanced maintenance, remote monitoring and diagnosis, reliability strategies.
  • Knowledge of other industrial rotating equipment including but not limited to Internal Combustion Engine drivers, Pumps, Generators, Gearboxes. Investigation and fault finding skills. Understanding of best practice, standards, codes and relevant regulations. (API, NORSOK, MARPOL, DNV) Preferred working experiences at Siemens (SGT-400) or Baker Hughes (PGT25+G4).

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist REE in day to day duties.
  • Responsible for solving technical, maintenance, operational issues for all major turbomachinery in inventory.
  • Carry out technical audits of turbomachinery equipment packages.
  • Prepare technical specifications, resources and initial budget for upgrades/new equipment.
  • Review, evaluate and verify supplier proposals/data sheets to comply with project specifications and requirements.
  • Identify and resolve any scope change and deviation with supplied equipment (MOC).
  • To ensure consistent quality by performing audits on OEM / service providers. To coordinate studies related to feasibilities, life assessment, obsolescence, upgrades, future strategies & evaluate OEM recommendations related to new technologies to enhance reliability, availability, efficiency & performance of turbomachinery equipment.
  • To review capital spares inventory for turbomachinery ensuring that optimum levels are maintained and to order replacement of aged parts. Develop, plan and execute the condition monitoring / analysis and troubleshooting activities for turbomachinery equipment in assigned area.
  • Monitor turbomachinery and investigate any areas for improvement.
  • Develop, plan and monitor the execution of turbomachinery equipment maintenance strategy, specific maintenance routines and job plans. Investigate turbomachinery equipment recurring failures in the assigned area.
  • Integral member of RCA team as required.
  • To develop scope of work for long term service agreements with OEMs & non-OEM service providers for utilization of specialist services & refurbishment of capital insurance spares & to ensure that the quality of repairs / overhauls are in line with the agreed standards.
  • Research improvements in operation and maintenance of turbomachinery. Review Bad Actor list (turbomachinery equipment), analyse the problems/issues and provide recommendations to ensure and enhance asset reliability. Provide shutdown / turnaround scope of work for rotating equipment to ensure and enhance availability and integrity of plant and equipment.
  • Ensure conformance to applicable government regulations, engineering codes, and standards as well as company QA system, policies, and procedures. Provide reports for assigned equipment to department leaders. Lead, motivate, develop and assess the assigned team to achieve business objectives and grow capability.
