Trade Floor Support Engineer - Commodities - London - up to £65k + OT + bonus


Cititec Talent has partnered with a commodity trading firm in London in their search for a Trade Floor Support Engineer to join their growing Support team. The successful candidate will provide end-user support within their trading environment on desktop, telephony, networks, servers, and e-trading.


You will also be tasked with end-to-end management of 1st and 2nd line support tickets through to closure whilst providing support to trading Front to Back office staff. The right person for this role will be technically minded and will also play a key part in the build of 2 new data centres.


Experience required:

  • To have a background working in a trade floor environment, ideally commodities
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft server technologies such as AD, Exchange, SQL, etc
  • Experience with Powershell and VMware
  • To have an understanding of Citrix technologies
  • Experience Microsoft Office 365, backup and storage technologies
  • Knowledge of firewalls and infrastructure security
  • To be ITIL aware
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
