Technical Services Manager

We are currently representing a well respected, property management company in their efforts to source a Technical Service Manager. The fitting candidate will be required to possess and demonstrate a strong understanding on Health & Safety, compliance, as well as the mechanical and electrical aspects of the contract service.

Responsibilities

  • Check and approve expenditure against service charge budgetsManage site based staff, ensuring all people related policies and procedures are followedMaintain regular and effective communication with internal colleagues in Property Management, support functions and the wider Real Estate businessMonitor works conducted/service provided by suppliersAudit and inspect supplier deliveryMeasure and report supplier performance against agreed SLAsManage suppliers to ensure effective, safe and compliant delivery of all M&E related services, including: life safety systems, vertical transportation equipment and public health systemsWork effectively with a range of specialist consultants to deliver agreed outcomesProcure goods and services, following procedures and policiesDevelop, agree and manage capital replacement programmesPrepare management reports for a variety of stakeholders and attend/chair management meetings as requiredUndertake regular building inspections, complete reports and initiate/progress any required worksEnsure compliance with all current statutory legislation in respect of health and safety and the environmentManage local environmental activities in order to meet statutory obligations and achieve/retain industry standards Ensure compliance with all internal procedures and policies - e.g. Procurement, Finance, Compliance, HR
