Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary school in Tredegar, working with children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of pupils aged 11-16.


 Previous experience working with children with ALN or special educational needs is desirable but not essential.

Personal experience is just as relevant in some instances.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver high-quality educational support to pupils with ALN.
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with special educational needs, including those with physical, sensory, and emotional disabilities.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Support the inclusion of pupils with ALN in mainstream classes and activities
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of pupil progress and behaviour.

Requirements:


-          EWC Registration


-          Enhanced DBS and update service subscription.


-          Able to provide 2 most recent references.


-          Right to work in the UK.


-          Level 2 Safeguarding Certificate (provided free of charge by Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.
