The main focus of this role is to provide excellent service managing tax compliance for a portfolio of companies across the global group; giving tax advice to wider businesses and engaging with external advisers, auditors and tax authorities being a great ambassador for SThree. Elevating expertise and energising progress for everyone. What are the day-to-day tasks? Manage country corporate tax obligations, including filing and payments. Analyse data and assess tax implications. Use internal tax software and accounting systems. Forecast tax charges and payments. Manage VAT reporting, including filing and payments. Assess changing landscape on digital reporting. Advise business on ad hoc requests. Undertake treaty applications. Advise on cross-border transactions. Engage with other teams such as Legal & Accounting. Compare and contrast country tax systems to ensure consistency where relevant. Agree budgets and scope of work. Manage working relationships with external tax advisors. What skills and knowledge are we looking for?
