Job Description

At Catch22, all our programmes and services are delivering huge social value. We are now taking that commitment to social value further through Catch22's own Social Value Framework. 

This newly created role of Social Value Coordinator will be responsible for bringing this framework to life. The role will involve working with colleagues across the organisation to capture our existing social value activity and drive new initiatives such as our flagship employee volunteering programme.

Key responsibilities :

  • Work with internal stakeholders to launch initiatives identified in the newly developed Catch22 Social Value Framework including the flagship employee volunteering programme.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including employees, community groups, businesses, and government bodies to identify social value opportunities.
  • Lead on the planning, execution and evaluation of social value activities across the organisation.
  • Working closely with our evidence and insights team to develop dashboards which monitor our social value outputs and SROI.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and work with Social Value UK to prepare Catch22 for achieving social value industry accreditation
  • Provide training and support to managers across the organisation to ensure our social value principles are embedded into their service contracts.
  • Work closely with our sustainability coordinator to ensure that our sustainability measures are incorporated into our overall ESG performance
  • Produce annually an organisational social value performance report designed for a range of audiences both internally and externally
  • Liaise closely with our business development team to ensure our social value offer is appropriate, achievable and aligns with our social value strategy
  • This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with strong project management skills and the ability to build and sustain key relationships.

    Qualifications

  • A degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, sustainability, community development, or business management, or relevant experience
  • A good understanding of social value frameworks and measurement with a particular focus within the context of delivering public services
  • The ability to work collaboratively with external consultants, as required
  • Knowledge of the theory and practice of social value delivery in a business environment.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining successful partnerships with multiple stakeholders.
  • You will also need to be able to:

  • Co-ordinate strategic communications about internal social value campaigns and initiatives.
  • Supply key data in helping Catch22 to achieve our social value aims and contractual requirements.
  • Provide social value advice, guidance, and support to colleagues in the preparation of bids and delivery of projects.
