Responsibilities

 

It will be your responsibility to support the business in all aspects of the management and delivery of HMUK’s social media platforms. Specifically:

 

  • Lead HMUK’s social media presence across paid and organic in line with Hyundai’s brand aspirations, brand identity and marketing campaigns.
  • Set the longer-term strategy for HMUK’s social media presence based on insight and business requirements.
  • Manage creative and content from brief to sign off.
  • Lead influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Manage reporting and analysis of all social media campaigns.
  • Manage day-to-day social media community management and engagement.
  • Maintain adherence to ‘earned, owned, paid’ approach across social media with full integration with the wider marketing and PR teams.
  • Support retailer’s social media presence with retailer marketing teams.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all output working with colleagues from across the organisation.

Personal Specification

 

  • Ability to craft compelling copy with excellent eye for detail. 
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion for social media and demonstrable results of managing branded social channels.
  • Strong project management skills (budget, timings, outputs, thinking ahead / anticipation). 
  • Understanding of the automotive marketplace and a genuine enthusiasm for cars.
  • A sound understanding of performance marketing across paid social.
  • Experience of managing external agencies and suppliers.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, ability to impact outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn: keen self-starter who stays on top of social media developments.
  • Flexibility and nimbleness: the ability to adapt and flex as marketing plans evolve.
  • Analytical: must be able to pull insights and measure the performance from data reports and listening tools. 
  • Organised: must be able to work solus and collaboratively to handle a high and diverse workload.
