KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform site visits in a timely manner, in compliance with Construction and Asset Management agreements provisions and HSE rules
  • Ensure quality control and quality assurance for sites under construction and operation
  • Ensure site visits reports are drafted and submitted accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Proactively ensure all issues reported from site visits are managed to a swift resolution
  • Ensure optimal PR/ availability per asset
  • Ensure all O&M and EPC providers achieve, at a minimum, their contractual obligations
  • Ensure the conditions of the plants are compliant with HSE rules and provisions
  • Use insights and analysis of operations variables to generate Annual Performance Optimization Plan reinforced with the use of the cutting-edge technologies (to drive innovation)
  • Ensure 100% security of all assets including full availability of CCTV systems (if applicable)
  • Act as the representative of the PDT and technical asset management service to all existing and prospective clients
  • Lead on specific technical failures of the main components
  • Supervise the punch list works before and after plant acquisitions, and under construction
  • Work with third-party vendors to support project components (trackers, inverters, balance of plant equipment) installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and perform tracker and mechanical equipment maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with third-party vendors and actively participate in meeting reviews to provide technical feedback about filed operations and construction
  • Attend periodical meetings with the Technical Team at WiseEnergy offices.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (in English or/and other European languages) - you must be able to organize your thoughts in a way that others find clear and compelling. You will be expected to together well-written, grammatically correct emails and other communications. When communicating verbally – whether over the phone, on video calls, in person or in meetings – you will need to be articulate, warm and engaging
  • Flexibility - being an effective team player means being flexible in your approach and open to getting involved with new things, even if they are not spelt out in your job description

  • IT Literacy - you need to be comfortable with IT systems and working with data (you should have at least intermediate-level excel)

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the technical characteristics of PV plants
  • Knowledge of the management of PV portfolios
  • Experience in construction/maintenance of utility scale solar parks, most preferably as Site/Construction Manager/O&M Coordinator
  • Good knowledge of the UK technical and H&S legislation applied to PV plants
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Electronics, or qualified to the same level through experience of other qualifications
  • The right to work in the UK.
