Randstad are currently recruiting for a Shuttering Carpenter to support their construction operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling formwork for concrete structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret construction drawings and blueprints to determine formwork requirements.
  • Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, metal, and plastic to construct formwork.
  • Assemble formwork components using hand and power tools, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
  • Remove formwork once concrete has cured and clean and store materials for reuse.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

    • Qualifications:

  • A valid Blue CSCS Card
  • Proven experience working as a Shuttering Carpenter in a construction or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and tools used in formwork assembly.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and blueprints accurately.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in carpentry work.
