Ref: 37946My client, a global Insurance provider, is looking to hire a Senior Risk Analyst to support the risk management function to promote and embed the Risk Management Framework across all areas of the business. This role is a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role will provide the opportunity to:
  • Oversee the process of embedding the Risk Management Framework, including identifying, monitoring, and reporting the risks.
  • Engage with different functions and business units to support the strategies used to embed a strong culture of risk management, identification, assessment, evaluation and reporting, and promoting best practices.
  • Contribute to the ORSA (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment) processes and produce the ORSA reports on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Work with stakeholders on the annual business plan analysis process, developing scenario analysis to identify key risks and their impact on the risk profile and overall corporate objectives.
  • Support Capital Assessment initiatives across different legal entities and help oversee stress and scenario analysis for capital adequacy assessments.
  • Enhance the risk appetite framework through developing risk-based metrics and enabling Senior Management to understand and control risks to the business.
What you will bring to the role:
  • An understanding of life and non-life insurance products, services, and associated regulatory regimes, including Solvency II.
  • Skills in collating and analysing quantitative data, interpreting key risk indicators and metrics, and financial modelling.
  • Capability to understand and manage risks, issues, and impacts across diverse products and locations concurrently.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with excellent communications ability and knowledge of risk management/GRC systems.
  • Able to work collaboratively, direct and support various deliverables while managing personal tasks.
  • A relevant actuarial, finance, or risk management qualification would be a plus.
