About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and forward-thinking Relationship Manager to help drive the development of the Swift UK business development team. The portfolio consists of complex banking and PSP clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing existing client relationships, increasing awareness of the Swift service offering, and maximizing revenue opportunities in partnership with the Swift community.

With a central focus on long-term customer relationship management, the successful candidate will build network and partner with clients through consultation and by providing expert advice around Swift solutions and product offering.

Responsabilities

What will my responsibilities be?

  • Build and maintain existing customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Identify customer needs/market opportunities to grow new business across your accounts, adding value to customers’ target operating model
  • Represent Swift and promote the company’s portfolio through participation in and workshops, business forums and conferences
  • Acquire and maintain market, product and services knowledge
  • Provide regular market and product feedback to your commercial team as well as the product and services team
  • Qualifications

    Key requirements:

  • Experience working at a fintech, payments service provider, technology vendor or within financial services
  • A proven track record working to (and exceeding) annual targets
  • History of building long-term relationships with high customer satisfaction and client retention
  • Ability to prioritise and focus on the achievement of individual and company goals
  • Eager to learn new skills and willing to get involved in a variety of projects
  • Preferred requirements:

  • Subject matter expertise of UK payments (CHAPS, BACS, Faster Payments), European payments (SEPA, Target2, EBA), BASEL III, international trade, correspondent banking, UK agency banking service
  • Knowledge of regulations (PSD2, GDPR, FATF), financial crime compliance and/or fraud and cybersecurity
  • Insight into the use of new technologies in financial transaction processing such as Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies, eInvoicing, digitization, supply chain and bank payment obligation, eIdentity
  • Knowledge of the Swift portfolio, technology, and payments market
