Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Car Allowance

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in main contracting?
Would you enjoy working for a growing business with a fantastic pipeline of work?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior quantity surveyor with a background in main contracting, to join a family run business who are delivering new build education solutions, utilising MMC. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for all pre & post construction activities, managing all commercial activity from inception through to hand over.
You will be working on projects across the education & healthcare sectors, with responsibility of up to 6 live sites at once with a overall project portfolio value of up to £10million.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will: - Manage all commercial activity, from tendering stages through to final accounts
- Prepare all tender documentation & evaluate any response
- Create CVR's to manage expenditure
- Control all applications, including sub contractor applications
- Provide day to date cost management across all projects
We would welcome conversations with Senior Quantity Surveyors who: - Possess a background in delivering projects as a main contractor
- Hold a solid knowledge of both JCT & NEC forms of contract
- Can demonstrate a working knowledge of managing actual vs budgeted expenditure
- Have been involved in final accounts on multiple projects at once
- Can work on projects as both sub contractor & main contractor
- Will manage the businesses overall commercials, ensuring projects are profitable
