Job descriptionAxon Moore are partnering with an exciting and growing business with their head office based in South Leeds, who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk into their finance team. The company are looking to add experienced resource to the Purchase Ledger function as they continue to grow. This role will hold end-to-end responsibility for the ledger from inputting invoices to preparing and making payments. This role will grow in capacity and there is the opportunity for future progression and development. Salary – Up to £28,000 , 25 days holidays, 2 day hybrid working, pension and other benefitsKey Responsibilities:Maintaining a clean purchase ledgerProcessing supplier invoices, ensuring they reconcile with the systemReconciliation of supplier statements to the ledger with a high level of accuracyResolve supplier queries and invoicing errors in a timely mannerEnsure agreed payment terms are adhered toOther ad-hoc accounting duties as requiredSupport junior team membersExperience and skills:Experience in a Purchase Ledger roleExperience with accounting systems would be an advantageA strong work ethic - proactive in your work, showing initiativeTeam player, positive attitude and happy to help the wider team where neededGood attention to detail and able to work to a fast pace where necessary Read More |
