We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Product Manager.


The Senior Deposits Product Manager is responsible for proactively leading and driving GPS CMB UK Deposits management and commercialization throughout UK CMB, working closely with GPS Europe/Global and CMB UK to deliver a suite of deposit products that meet our customers’ needs, comply with standards and regulation and are financially sustainable.




In this role, you will:




• Working with Sales and Europe Product to drive stable deposits amongst our customer base



• Periodically review and deposit products and ensure the end-to-end product lifecycle is fit for purpose for HSBC UK customers.

This includes marketing collateral, on-boarding, pricing (rates), billing, sales suitability and exit



• Identify opportunities to make product enhancements or introduce new deposit propositions into the market



• Identify process improvements across the product lifecycle



• Take on a senior role within the product team and provide coaching and direction where required



• Work closely with finance to understand the commercial levers related to deposit products



• Define the strategy for deposits for the UK Commercial Banking market



• Assisting in the communication of new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers 



• Proactively identifying sales opportunities and develop these opportunities



• Supporting plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones, in order to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets


Requirements


To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:




• Proven experience of progressive and broad-based commercial banking and product management, business planning and financial management experience or equivalent.



• Strong communications, analytical, organisational, project management and planning skills.



• Working knowledge and keen understanding of bank operations, payment systems and technology.



• Managing a range of stakeholders including risk stewards and product colleagues



• Ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data (proficient in Word Excel)



• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
