Title: Senior Assistant

Location: London

Provide high quality, intelligent, secretarial and administrative support. The skills and attributes required are excellent administration and organisation skills. The role will involve organising travel, meetings, team events, expenses etc.; the candidate should have an all-round ability and common sense, flexibility and the willingness to be an important and integral part of the business.


As well as following instructions, the workload will frequently require the individual to be independent and actively offer support to the business where they feel they can.

The material will sometimes be highly confidential and will require the utmost care and attention in the way it is dealt with.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Secretarial support to Managing Directors on the following teams: finance, legal and product management, risk and compliance with occasional support for other teams. 
  • Research, organise and book travel (via travel agent) and accommodation for meetings, /conferences 
  • Prepare and submit monthly cash and credit card expenses using Concur
  • Assist in maintaining and proactively manage team diaries using Outlook, arranging meetings and appointments including organising external lunches and dinners, booking meeting rooms;
  • Assisting with Planning Team events
  • Assist with any overseas visitors
  • Assist with any other project/ad hoc projects.
  • Key Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Concur
  • able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information;
  • self-motivated and able to take responsibility;
  • resilient to manage conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties;
  • able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks;
  • good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
