SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

The Gardenists specialises in the design and build of luxury residential Gardens and Landscape projects in the super prime residential market. We are seeking a creative and talented Senior Landscape Architect to join our growing business. In this role, you will be responsible for developing strong conceptual designs and overseeing the technical implementation process to support our construction teams.


Knowledge & Experience Required:

- High-End Residential Projects: Extensive experience in managing and delivering high-end residential projects, with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

- Technical and Design Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and rendering software like Lumion or D5. Strong design skills across various project types and stages.

- Communication Skills: Ability to illustrate work creatively and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, especially when presenting to ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI).

- UK Plant Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of UK plants, with horticultural expertise being a plus.

- Conceptual Design and Luxury Market Knowledge: Strong conceptual design abilities and familiarity with luxury materials and market standards.

- Team Leadership: Experience in leading teams and coordinating with external consultants.

- Construction Phase Oversight: Ability to inspect works during construction and enforce quality standards.


Responsibilities & Duties:

- Team Management: Overseeing project targets, delegating tasks, and ensuring compliance with project briefs.

- Weekly Reviews: Reporting performance, defining project resource needs, and setting targets and deadlines.

- Fee Proposals & Management: Defining project briefs, scopes, deliverables, and managing performance against these deliverables.

- Design Responsibilities: Ensuring designs adhere to QA standards and managing the design process.
