  • Hours : Full-time / Mon-Fri / 9-5 generally

    • We are looking for a Senior IT Support Officer for one of our public sector clients in Belfast. You'll support a wide range of IT Systems (maintenance/troubleshooting/installation/configuration etc). You'll provide hardware/software support to professionals within the organisation, across Microsoft/Windows systems, laptops, PCs, printers, mobiles as well as supporting the network including setup/configuration of hubs/routers etc. This will primarily be on-site at the Belfast office, but may require travel to other sites across NI from time to time.

    • Essential Criteria

  • IT Degree / HND.
  • Strong IT Support experience in a large organisation across hardware/software/printers/networks/routers etc
  • Experience in installing and supporting network equipment, PCs, printers, data switches, routers etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft application software and windows operating systems.
  • Excellent communicator with ability to lead / mentor junior IT officers.
  • Positive outlook and willing to take on a variety of tasks to meet goals of the department, especially in times of project delivery.
  • Driving licence and access to own car.

    • What you'll do as a Senior IT Support Officer

    Key Responsibilities:

  • General IT Support of organisations IT Infrastructure.
  • Installation and support of hardware/software including PCs, laptops, printers, routers, Microsoft applications etc.
  • Support junior IT Officers, mentor and lead.
  • Assist with other duties to meet department goals and help with project delivery.
  • Travel to other sites, when needed.
