WeDo have partnered with a Global FinTech looking for a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to compliment existing teams as they increase their focus on Cloud/Saas solutions.


The team currently supports their flagship product which is instrumental to ongoing business.

This product is a high volume, low latency, cloud based product, and is industry leading.

You'll be working with Agile teams, and will play a vital role in the design and creation of new features and enhancing existing code.


What're they looking for?


  • Someone who is responsible for the functional and non-functional requirements of the product. Able to design and document Saas solutions.
  • Ability to develop and implement unit tests. Frameworks and associated automated test cases.
  • Ability to review and debug code to identify defects, performance bottlenecks or technical debt.
  • Interfacing between the various teams / relevant stakeholders to refine best practices and approach.
  • Proven experience working in a highly agile working environment - actively part of sprint planning meetings and daily stand-ups.
  • Shows initiative in helping and mentoring junior team members, as well as taking the lead on a variety of the above activities.

What skillsets will you need?


  • Extensive Angular experience.
  • Proven track record in the designing and developing SPA's/PWA's using JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS.
  • Experience in developing test frameworks or test cases (using Cypress, Selenium, Jasmine, for example).
  • Exposure to the entire Software Development Lifecycle in a product/commercial environment.
  • Mock API experience is a bonus.
  • Championing software engineering best practices. Driving this within the wider team.
  • Extensive experience with Software Development Tools: IDE’s, version control, test automation, continuous integration, defect and backlog management systems.

Interview Process?


  • Stage 1 - 30 mins
  • Stage 2 - Technical Test (3-4 hrs). Take home, give you 7 days ish to complete.
  • Stage 3 - 1.5 hr technical interview based around your tech test.
