Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical engineering projects within student accommodation buildings.

* Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components to meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

* Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and upgrades of electrical installations to ensure optimal performance and compliance.

* Lead a team of junior engineers and technicians, providing mentorship and ensuring high standards of work.

* Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.

* Troubleshoot complex electrical issues, implementing effective and sustainable solutions.

* Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and project updates for management and stakeholders.

* Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to continuously improve engineering processes and outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.

, Chartered Engineer status) is highly desirable.

* A minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.

* Extensive experience in building services, particularly within the residential or student accommodation sectors.

* Proficient in using electrical design software and other relevant engineering tools.

* In-depth knowledge of UK electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
